On 23 October in the shipyard of Ulsan of Hyundai heavy Industries three new containerships of 7500 teus were baptized. They have been financed by the German company Nordcapital and they will be used by the Cosco group in long term chartering.

The new vessels called “Cosco Seattle”; “Cosco Vancouver” and “Cosco Yokohama” follow the other two new containerships of 7500 teus “Cosco Long Beach” and “Cosco Shenzhen” recently incorporated in the Cosco group. Cosco will use five vessels in its Transpacific services.
